Hiring a private guide and driver is the right choice for all those who want to experience a personal and customized day out with a knowledgeable and fun local guide in this remote part of paradise.

There are many places our guides can show you to share their insights about the region, the people and local habitat with you. The indigenous capital of Bribri is a vibrant little town with much to explore, just 20 minutes away from Puerto Viejo: rivers, waterfalls, organic farms, yummy foods or even a trip over the river to Panamanian territory. Or you can continue until the border town of Sixaola along the river bed of the famous Sixaola River and get an idea of this surreal region, which is famous for its abundance of banana plantations.

In the other direction there is the small town of Cahuita with its stunning National Park and friendly village inhabitants to be explored. Or head to the port city of Limon for shopping of all kinds or eating out and grasp the spirit of the Caribbean capital in the company of your guide.

For this service we divide the region in different zones:

Zone 1: Bribri, Cahuita, Manzanillo
Zone 2: Sixaola, Limon etc.
Zone 3: Siquirres, Guapiles, San Jose, etc.

Rates:

Zone 1: $30 per hour for 1-2 pax, $10 per hour per extra pax; Minimum: 2 hours
Zone 2: $40 per hour for 1-2 pax, $10 per hour per extra pax; Minimum: 3 hours
Zone 3: $50 per hour for 1-2 pax, $10 per hour per extra pax; Minimum: 4 hours
