Tortuguero Canal and Banana Plantation |
![]() |
On the way to the Canal we will already spot animals like monkeys or sloths especially along National Park Cahuita.
We will make a fast Limon Tour, just to give you a flair of the main town on the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica.
Passing the famous playa Bonita beach and Port Moin, we will take a Boat Safari through mangroves, looking for wildlife on the Tortuguero Canal.
Usually there is a large number of birds, reptiles like Iguanas, caimans and perhaps even a crocodile. Sloths are quiet common there too.
After that great adventure we will drive to a Banana plantation, there we will visit the packing station and you will get to know all about it.
On the way back we will make a break to taste fresh fruits and drink fresh pipas (coconuts).
